Message from our President

Since its inception in 1997 Shanti Deva Vidyalaya has made education a mission catering to the educational needs of hundreds of needy and orphan learners of Arunachal Pradesh for whom education was not accessible earlier. As the management committee/Executive Body members of Shanti Deva Vidyalaya we strive to build independent, responsible and global citizens by nurturing them as good human beings, infusing rich cultural fundamental values of our Society in them with the necessary advanced skills that will help them in making the nation proud. Through the best use of modern resources we try developing young minds to think, to question and to create so that they are able to face the challenges of life successfully. Our team of professional educators are dedicated to help each student in attaining his or her maximum potential, both academically and socially. Fostering and celebrating our student’s talents and achievements are at the core of all we do every day. We endeavour to train our children towards human excellence through four pillars – “dedication, discipline, determination and devotion” combined with the Four Noble Path , namely, suffering; eliminate the cause; attain cessation and cultivate the path as taught by Lord Budhha.

I hope that the contents of our school’s website will convey the ethos and atmosphere of Shanti Deva Vidyalaya that has been entrusted with the future careers and future lives of this orphan, deprived but extremely talented and brilliant children of West Kameng and Tawang District.
